Meetings and Conferences

A General Meeting is held annually together with an International Air Safety Seminar, a joint conference with the Flight Safety Foundation and IATA. Each conference has a chosen theme of vital interest relevant to airworthiness. These Conferences are well attended, by non-members as well as members, and usually generate additional membership.

A high level of speakers is assured leading to constructive and informed debate on airworthiness and operational subjects of mutual interest. Such occasions provide opportunities for those concerned with the regulation and implementation of airworthiness standards to exchange views in an informal setting. Proceedings of most of the previous conferences are available on request.

IFA members are active on a whole range of international technical committees and participate regularly in conferences, giving papers on airworthiness subjects.
